soooo. compared to a 240 how much more is this to modify?
Like the manual swap, turbo, etc. since it's not as common as a 240?

nice start to the sc man.
not to break your heart or anything, but you wont be in pro-am in that car dude. will be needing a full 6 point cage and FIA sanctioned seats minimum, along with a sfi 3 layer racing suit and sa2005 helmet.
ask me how i know.. i've been saving up for all the safety eqpt to go into my newest car.
definitely keep reaching high though and hit up as many grassroots events as possible. and definitely head to formula d drift atlanta in may.. and they are coming to palm beach, fl this year also..nothing to inspire you like walking the pits and seeing the pro cars, and other pro-am cars.

And pat. all i did to my 240 was a GT45R turbo on 15psi. made well over 300hp. intake. exhaust. coils. rims. and i drifted it just fine. with the SC thre so rare to find 5 spd. so i converted it. put in a stage 3 clutch. B&M Short Shifter. and a turbo kit for the na 2jz. all im gonna do power wise is gets a 2jzgte swaped in. single turbo it and run boost. so the SC deffinetly takes more modification. there so heavy. and 240's r so ligh u can drift on stock power.

wanna buy a gte bottom end? easiest way for you to go. i have a pretty complete 2jzgte block and rotating assembly, been sitting since i spun a bearing at an event 4 years ago and put the car right on the trailer. need new bearings and rings, drop your head on it and boost away.. no wiring issues and expense of the full gte swap. pm me if you are interested...cheap $$$

I want a SC300 this summer but if I get an SC, thats more money on the base car and less i have on parts. If i get a 240, most of my funds can go on parts. BUT it'l just be 1 more 240 around. (i love 240s but you have to admit they dominate grass roots events atleast from my experience). I mainly want to stance it out and get it looking nice before i get into drifting. Gotta slide in style!

Yea SC300 is rare to see cuz there not to many 5 speeds. But the funny thing is when i had m 240 i NEVER saw 1 sc300. but i always saaw a 240. when i got the SC i saw like 3 of them the day i boght it. lol. but the reason the 240 is so used is because they look good. there cheap to build. and they made so many of them.

and they have a usable torque band, and near 50/50 weight dsitribution... but the sc is cool.
try drifting a gs300 from stock on up to 400hp over 7 years.. took so long b/c i had to build everything myself. at least there are a bunch of parts out there for the jzz30 chassis... check out alex p and battleversion.
